At Gold Medal, we’re big on exploring all the wonderful tastes and flavors that wine from around the world has to offer.  Sure, the vineyards of California, Italy and France are common, household names, but what about Argentina? Our Argentina wine club will send products made from this South American country directly to you. There the lush climate and warm weather results in a splendid taste. Experience what it’s like to drink products made in a different part of the world.

Fine Argentina wines are a great secret and discovery waiting for you to make. The geography of the Andes and equatorial location make it an excellent growing spot, not to mention the long history and traditions of wine production. We found our new favorites through a wine of the month club where we receive a few bottles every month and can sample unique varietals at our leisure. With our membership, we have several bottles to share and introduce others to these Argentinian treasures.

I was blown away the first time I sampled an Argentina wine. Most of us are familiar with American wines, but haven’t ventured to South America. This imported Argentina wine, a Tempranillo, was a red of the most beautiful deep, dark plum color that was full-bodied and rich to the palate but the taste was soft with fruit and spices. Very complex, very satisfying. A real joy. I was amazed to find out it was a wine of the month from an international wine club! It put new enthusiasm behind Salud!
